With the Nation in Alert Level 2 we encourage all event organisers to ensure they are aware of all requirements for hosting an event. You can find all relevant details Ministry of Health website. Organic Week Aotearoa will be going ahead as planned, but please put the Health & Saftey of yourself and others first.

Using your company Facebook page, upload your event to Facebook and submit Organic Week NZ as a co-host. 



Fill out the form on the link below, and include all necessary details. Please include a website link to the registered facebook event. Ensure you have a promotional image ready to send through to us when requested.

Ensure all events are registered before Friday 28th August -  Any events submitted after this date may not be promoted due to late entry.


Farmers & Growers

  • Open your gates to the community and host guided tours

  • Host an on farm interactive demonstration or workshop.

  • Invite local schools or communities and provide a teaching experience using your expertise

  • Host a working bee

  • Use the ready-made posters and key messages at your local weekend markets

School & Communities


  • Invite a farmer or grower in the community to share their knowledge of organic growing and why it's beneficial

  • Host and organic breakfast or picnic, inviting along the whole community in your area. Share stories and eat great food.

  • Have an excursion to an organic farm or garden to really introduce the children or community group to organic growing.

  • Sprout seeds and see how your produce grows organically

Organic Gardens

  • Open your garden to the community and offer guided tours

  • Share your growing experience with a local school or community group

  • Team up with a local organic retailer to provide an educational event



  • Provide special offers and promotions for certified organic produce within stores

  • Divert customers to certified organic products. Ensure eligible signs are available to direct consumers to the products.

  • Offer tastings and trials of products within store, providing an educative display so your customers can interact with growers and producers.

  • Open your doors to the community and host an organic picnic or BBQ 

Chefs & Restaurants

  • Create an exclusive organic week menu using organic products from your local area

  • Host an exclusive organic meal paired with talks from your favourite organic suppliers at your facility

  • Source organic beverages, including fizzys, wine and beer

  • Create an organic cooking demonstration to show your customers what products you use and why you choose organic

  • Special promotions on the menu for organic options


  • Offer discounts on selected organic items throughout the week in-store and online

  • Use the Organic Week digital tool-kit to promote why consumers should choose organic throughout the week in store and through your digital channels

  • Host an event at using your store space by collaborating with other organic brands in your region
