 ONLINE EVENTS

As New Zealand's organic sector grows and evolves, we want you to be part of our annual celebration!

Due to the recent COVID-19 restrictions, we have had to adapt our in-person events that were scheduled to take place during Organic Week 2021.

There are a number of factors to consider whether or not you can host an event locally. The Alert Level your community is in at the time of the event will dictate the number of people that can gather, if at all, and other protocols that must be followed. Please visit the government’s COVID-19 website for up-to-date information.

Please hold events only when it is safe for your community to do so, and when your community feels ready to do so. If it doesn’t happen during Organic Week, that’s okay. We can celebrate organics all year!

LET'S GET BUSY ONLINE: Promote, Share, Watch, Talk

Organic Week has developed a calendar of online events that we would love for you and all your friends, whanau, supporters and customers to attend. We’ve also created a list of ideas that you can use to celebrate Organic Week online!

Organic Week @ Home Speaker Series

The original Organic Week @ Te Papa speaker series is now online.
Organic Week @ Home Speaker Series is now
three online events that you can join each day. We will still be speaking to the same panellists about the same important issues so you can discover how organics helps our health, our communities and our planet thrive.

Organic NZ Awards Celebration & The Great Organic Night In

COVID-19 may have stopped our planned in-person event, but we're still celebrating the best organic farmers, brands, products and people with the Organic NZ Awards & the Great Organic Night In.

Not only are we producing a delightfully entertaining programme with our production partners Uno Loco and Hula, but we've also designed an entire evening around it! So cook an organic meal, open a bottle of organic wine and join us online 17 September at 8:00 pm for a delightfully entertaining hour of celebration!

Start a Competition on Your Social Channels

Everyone loves a good competition, especially if you get to win something! Competitions are a fun way to activate your fans and help put smiles on their faces. Remember, you can always give tickets to future events, offer time to help someone in their garden or provide prizes that support local artisans.

Create Videos

If you can’t hold a demonstration or a special garden tour, why not take a video instead? Short videos are a great way to communicate with your online audience. Post the video online or send it to us! info@organicweek.co.nz

Join an Organic Week Competition

With amazing prizes up for grabs, why not join and/or share one of the many competitions on Organic Week’s social media channels. Keep an eye on our feeds to learn more.
